One of the best scenes in Season Five is Rory's reaction to the Tardis being bigger inside than outside. (Youtube video).
The only comparable bit along these lines is when the Third Doctor asked Sergeant Benton why he didn't remark on the fact. (Aren't you going to say that it's bigger on the inside than it is on the outside? Everybody else does." "It's pretty obvious, isn't it?")
